These are a few of my favorite (F2008 RTW) things

Quick summary of the Fall 2008 looks I'm absolutely loving:

1.) GIVENCHY's goth inspired look:

2.) GUCCI's boho wonderland (similar looks also seen at DKNY and Anna Sui):

3.) BALENCIAGA: because they can do no wrong:

4.) BALMAIN's hot little one shoulder mini dresses (very few of these fitted minis around this season):

5.) ALEXANDER WANG's super skinny pants (also like this particular dress!):

6.) ALBERTA FERRETTI

My own personal style this season:

1.) Straying slightly closer to neutrals
2.) Giving pants a chance once again (more leggings, skinny pants)
3.) Lighter lips and eyes
4.) More of the red lip
5.) No more bangs - it has become way too much of a staple for women over the past few years
6.) More classic high quality pieces, less just-for-tonight pieces
7.) More DIY

Why Shia, Why?

I think Shia LeBoeuf is kinda cute. So sue me. Does it make me a sort of creepy cradle robber crusher girl? Maybe. But Jude Law is losing his hair and there's really no one else to crush on right now okay? But seriously though, Shia wtf is up with this getup? Dude.

Two Scoops of Fred Perry? Yes Please.

Wear Fred Perry. Like, now.

Found: Craigslist Missed Connections = Sometimes Gay

This nugget is care of a good friend of mine who crashed a
CTV Annual Media party last week. And though he does enjoy  'gobbling' food as per the email below, unfortunately for server at the Windsor, he doesn't like to gobble "penis".  Points for the sign-off though, I think I shall use it too.

Awesome.

Hey,

You were a really hot Asian guy gobbling up hors d'oeuvres at the CTV thing at the Windsor hotel tonight. I was the cute server humouring you. Too bad I didn't see you again later! Provide some corroborating detail (like what were you gobbling up?) so I know it's you. And then let's go party this weekend!
Awesome

Jamaica Me Crazy

Say it once a day and keep the doctor away.  For serious ailments, I suggest "Jamaica Me Horny". If all hope is lost, than "Jamaica Me Dead" should be used sparingly. "Jamaica Me Hungry" is often overheard at my house, which is kind of not cool because it leads to "Jamaica Me Chunkorama".

This is Why I Heart San Francisco

Freshly caught
Dungeness crab the size of my head, as a snack for only $5 USD? Year round?!? Are you freaking kidding me? You had me at hello.

Ah Shit, Chanel and Dior in a Sissy Fight

So Chanel's Blue Satin has been soaking up a lot of the polish limelight. And why not? It's been riding on Black Satin's coat tails for like, ever. Now it seems Dior is saying nobody puts their nail polish in the corner. When you're only available at Sephora, it's kind of hard to be the next gotta have polish, now isn't it? Blue Satin, looks like you're here to stay. That is until Fall 2008, where I totally call Chanel Gold Fiction as the next polish I totally have to buy.
